Dopplemyr remarkables

We were approached by our construction partner Formance sip panels about doing the control buildings for the new dopplemyr lift install at the remarkables ski area. This consisted of 3 new buildings one larger one at the bottom station and two smaller ones at the top station.

The bottom station building was for a low voltage room and is home to all the large electrical boards and brains for the lift as well as where the lefties run the lift from. This was built on a concrete block foundation with sip panel floor walls and roof we constructed these in a panel by panel method up to getting the roof on and stark Upvc windows and doors in. followed by the wall and roof cladding.

The top station buildings were for the operator hut for lift operations and one for the patrol hut these were taken up to site 2000m above sea level at the top of the ski field fully constructed apart from the wall claddings by 6 wheel drive hiab and craned into place we then fixed them down to the foundations and installed the remaining door and installed the cladding. This was a very challenging site with very tricky conditions and a tight time line we were able to work with this and finished on time and to budget.
